Limited Edition Inductive Bottle Collaboration
X Muse Inductive is a limited-edition art–spirit collaboration that fuses the hypnotic practice of Marcos Lutyens with the architectural legacy of Sir Edwin Lutyens. Conceived by Vadim de Grainville, the project centers on the symbolic power of the letter X—a sign of convergence, a crossroads between disciplines, and the Roman numeral ten, referencing the mythic Tenth Muse, which gathers the attributes of all nine original Greco-Roman muses into a single meta-force of creativity.
The number ten plays a central role in Lutyens’ hypnotic methodology, where a slow ten-step countdown functions as a tool for deepening trance and interior descent. This inductive staircase has been activated worldwide in museums and biennials. In X Muse Inductive, that same principle is translated onto the surface of the bottle through a small series of hand-painted interventions by Lutyens, echoing both trance geometry and architectural line.
Each bottle operates as a dual-vector device: externally, its markings guide the viewer inward toward altered perception; internally, the spirit evokes outward journeys toward landscape, memory, and sensory reverie—symbolically returning to the rolling Scottish barley fields at the origin of X Muse.
A select number of these unique bottles will be unveiled at a private launch at The Ned in London, a historic building originally designed by Sir Edwin Lutyens. The event is presented in collaboration with the The Lutyens Trust UK and The Lutyens Trust America, with proceeds supporting both nonprofit organizations and fostering cross-Atlantic cultural exchange. The unveiling will align with a significant cultural moment in London and may include a live inductive performance activation.
